Esme Kenney was just thirteen when she was murdered while jogging near her home. She was a seventh-grade student at Cincinnati's School for Creative and Performing Arts and a warm, loving, talented young woman who is deeply missed.
About the Project
A group of SCPA community members, including Esme's parents, seek to honor Esme-and every young life that is cut short-through the installation of a permanent sculpture in the new SCPA building. Suspended above the third-floor atrium, beautiful colored glass pieces will float, catching the sunlight streaming through a wall of south-facing windows. It will reflect Esme's enduring spirit of joy and hope.
